[DUBAI, UAE] - Emirates Flight Catering recently announced a cooperation agreement with Guangdong Shanan Technology Co., Ltd., purchasing advanced food X-ray inspection systems to detect potential contaminants in yogurt packaged products, ensuring the safety and quality of inflight meals.
The newly acquired X-ray inspection systems utilize artificial intelligence algorithms and high-resolution imaging technology to accurately identify foreign materials such as metal, glass, and plastic in yogurt products. They also monitor seal integrity and fill levels of packaged foods, preventing production defects. The equipment complies with international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA) and is designed for high-speed production lines in aviation catering.
Emirates Flight Catering stated: "Food safety is a critical component of aviation services. Shanan Technology’s equipment is renowned for its high accuracy and stability, which will help us further enhance our supply chain quality control."
The General Manager of Guangdong Shanan Technology commented: "This collaboration signifies international recognition of Chinese intelligent detection technology in high-end markets. We will continue innovating to support global food safety production."
